Now, they pretty much make me nauseous. Especially the off-road ones, where you can flip and do other crazy, creepy and altogether suicidal things to your vehicle.
I used to love those games. They're pretty much the only kind of video game I like/liked. I still like them, as long as I drive carefully.
Something else, not directly related, but... I don't understand some things in my driver's manual.
"If you miss your exit on the freeway, do not back up, but wait till the next exit to leave the highway and turn around." Do not back up? Ouch. I know this is supposed to be for new drivers, but I don't know who wouldn't know that.
So, you've probably gathered that I am preparing for my drivers test. I can take it whenever I'm ready. Haha, I've been preparing since I was ten years old. I studied driving habits, signs and controls since then in fear. I'm nervous. I don't like driving.
So now you know my fatal secret. Is this natural?
I'm off to make blueberry pancakes!

How's it going?
Well it's been a busy week with a slow but heavy beginning to the school year. I'm almost done with Algebra 1 as I start Algebra 2. Geometry hasn't come in the mail yet, but that's good.
SO, on the craft front, I started to crochet a shawl with periwinkle yarn, I'm starting Christmas presents (all knit, of course), I'm planning some wool/angora fingerless gloves and I'm considering starting my winter 1850's dress. And I have to make a skating dress before lessons start up again.
The above is pretty self evident that I may have something else to be doing.

Part Two, the beach
Okay, here are beach pictures!
Tether ball! This was SO fun, and I won against my little brother twice.
Be careful, Pooch! My baby brother's new hobby, up and down, up and down.
Sand castles, sea foam, shadows and sculptures!
I sculpted his head, neck and shoulders, and my sis and I made it look like he was buried in the sand, asleep! My sisters made another one, but I'm proud of this guy.
We went bowling Thursday night,
The funny shoes.
A good hearty push! She knocked most of them down with that!
After bowling we returned to the beach and I had a blast getting myself soaked:
That's all for now, thanks for tuning in!
Brigade, Beach, Bowling and Busyness
Hi there! I'm back from a very busy, very fun week.
Brigade was last weekend at the Fort, we headed to the beach on Wednesday and came back on Friday, then tomorrow we're expecting visitors then school school school!
I must confess; this year I'm dreading school. I usually don't, but my schedule is SO tight this year. I'm going to be taking two math classes for crying out loud (even that doesn't help ;) ) I love math, but it can be really irritating sometimes.
Anyway, here are pictures from Brigade! I carried the camera around all day Sunday, but nobody minded:
All snuggly in my shawl. Here I am doing 19th century games on Sunday...
But I had some help!

No lower class ladies at tea!

Young woodworkers!

I waited forever for them to shoot the cannon, camera in hand, but just as they shot it, the camera turned off! Low battery, ugh!
My next post will be part two, the beach!

Woot!
I just passed my ice skating test and moved up to the advanced levels!!!
Yay! Next level: Freestyle 1!
My test went horribly, but my teacher knew what I could do, so she passed me. I think I pulled a muscle on my lunges, but I'll be okay :P
Anyway, other news, Brigade is this weekend and I'm almost finished with my dress, I'm so excited!
So, bye for now!

Goal!
Okay!
I cleaned out one pool, made carrot cake, bread and finished the neckline on my dress! I feel satisfied.

Summer Busy
This week of mine has been busy busy busy. Some of it's been lazy busy and some of it's been busy busy, if that makes any sense.
Today will be busy as well.
1. I need to clean out two wading pools in the front with my sis, because they have algae and mosquito larvae in them. You know how to kill mosquito larvae? We tried bleach and then oil. The bleach was supposed to poison them, but it just turned their skin paler. The oil worked though because it suffocated them. So now we can dump and scrub.
2. I need to finish the neckline on my dress. Then I only have to attach the waist piping then attach the skirt.
3. I need to make french bread, rolls, cake and bread for slicing.
4. I want, but probably won't get to finish an art project I had going.
5. I need to do more Algebra today as well.
Here's a random picture of cake I made a few weeks ago when I went on a baking craze. I want to make another carrot cake today.
Anyway, I'll be signing out now, I need to get cracking.
Ah, summer!
