Hey, looks pretty good! I didn't know you were a barista! The best thing to do to get yourself situated as a blogger and not just the "new kid on the blogosphere" is to post quite often for the first little bit. after say... 30 posts or so, you don't have to do it so often. Also, in the begining, post lots and lots of pictures and video that you find online. People will follow your blog really fast if you've got lots and lots of funny stuff on it as well.Keep in mind as well that you don't need to make huge posts. a short paragraph and a picture or video is perfectly fine!I do have one, teeny, tiny, suggestion: make the comments a pop out window. It's a little annoying having to go to a whole 'nother page in order to just say "lol, that was great" Also, if you put some widgets on your blog (especially music players) they will stop and restart when you go to another page to make a comment.Hope this helps, if you want me to give you a full intro into the blogging world, let me know! You can email me or just post another comment on this post.Best,GraydonP.S. also get rid of the captcha word verification for comments. I've only gotten spammed once in my year and a half of blogging. Plus if you have comment moderation on (highly recommended) you don't need another "line of defense".
Lol, thank you for the suggestions! Also, I'm not technically a barista yet, that's my (hopeful) summer job next year because I already do that kind of stuff :D
What!? Who says you can't do menu planning on your blog?! Next thing ya know, your going to have a facebook! We are such a bad influence, Graydon!
